Design Consultation
This is where the fun begins. Whether you know exactly what you want or you’re looking for ideas and advice, the first step in making your custom dream home a reality is the initial design. If you only want to create space within your existing home, a team of highly skilled individuals will guide you through all the specific criteria involved to craft a custom design centered on your lifestyle. We’ll also provide you with an honest, accurate cost estimate. Consequently, if you are looking for a new custom home or just updating your existing home, Emerald Group, Inc. can definitely meet your objective. If repair or maintenance work is needed, no problem, we have that covered too. No project is ever too small!
Design and Drafting
Once you are comfortable with the consultation phase, we will coordinate with our drafting technicians to develop your plan into a full set of construction drawings. Like the service we provide for our commercial clients, we place a strong emphasis on “value engineering” to make certain your home provides all the value and equity it needs to have. Throughout this process, you will know where you stand with design, cost, and value.
Construction Management
This is when your vision becomes reality. From construction documents and shop drawings to scheduling and costing, we will handle all the day-to-day details – both expected and unexpected to keep the job on track. Frequent and open communication is part of the process. At the end of each month, we’ll share with you a detailed report of your project’s cost and construction schedule. We pride ourselves on keeping organized and clean job sites.
Post Construction
The end of your project is not the end of our commitment to you. We’ll provide all the necessary permits required for you to take possession of your home. We’ll also provide you with a detailed written warranty and care guide to help ensure and maintain your investment. After you have settled in, we’ll conduct an additional walk-through inspection reassuring you that “Quality”, “Value,” and most of all “Service” resonates in our name every day.
